A bridge is a custom device anchored to neighboring teeth that replaces one or more missing teeth. When a lost tooth is replaced with bridgework, the teeth on either side of the missing one most commonly are prepared as crowns to serve as abutments to hold the prosthetic (replacement) tooth in place. Crowns and bridges are most often made from superior materials such as semiprecious or precious metals, porcelain, or a fused combination of the two. Oral Surgery |
A high-quality dentist team helps to performs tooth removals, root removals, cyst surgeries and other larger scale oral surgeries. Dental implants are artificial tooth replacements of missing or lost teeth. Today, implant techniques provide a wide range of tooth replacement solutions. In the first phase of the surgery, the implant or artificial (titanium) root is placed into the jawbone under local anesthesia, and then allowed to heal and integrate with the bone.
